Hi. I’m Greg Brenner with Apex House Buyers, and I just want to do a quick video for you of a condo that we just purchased. Oftentimes, we’re buying properties that need a lot of work, and I just wanted to let people know that we buy Sarasota properties in any condition. This is a property that is in great condition. I’ll walk you around it here as I tell you the story of how we bought it.
It’s a two-bed, two-bathroom property in North Sarasota. You can see here’s the kitchen here, it was remodeled just a couple of years ago. I got a call on a Sunday afternoon, from a distraught seller who just was in a situation that she just felt super uncomfortable with, was under contract with a company to sell the property and just felt that the company wasn’t being honest and they had breached the contract. She was very worried that ultimately the sale would fall apart and she would be stuck with this property when she was trying to move to the other side of the country.
So I spoke with her for about two hours that Sunday afternoon and set up a time to come meet her Monday. She was able to cancel the original contract on Monday before I came and saw her. We met for about an hour and just went over everything. She had a lot of questions, she wanted to make sure she was in good hands and ultimately she felt that she was. We worked out a price that was fair for both of us, and we purchased the property two weeks later.
This was a situation where the property was in good shape. She could have listed it for sale, but she just didn’t want that hanging over her head. She wanted to be able to move out west and just have a clean break, not have to worry about the property like did a realtor forget to lock it up, did a pipe burst, did a neighbors apartment catch on fire, or a million different things. For her, she didn’t want to have to deal with that she wanted a clean break.
